Minnette and Dancer's Palace have been under heavy control of the Exarch of Nar Shaddaa, Lesin Tyn, since shortly after the star fortress showed up over Nar Shaddaa. Minnette and Sebrik have decided it's time for that control to end. They're contacting friends, allies, be they Jedi, Sith, agents or smugglers, anyone they can trust against the overly controlling current Exarch, to help them mount an attack. They know this won't be easy. They know they may not make it out alive. They know it's time to do this.

This event will include PC vs PC combat, using my opposed rolls system, which will be outlined in the next post below.
If your character has any contact with Sebrik, Minnette or anyone they would be recruiting for this, and seems reasonably inclined ICly to not turn them in as traitors against Zakuul, your character could be contacted to help with this and you can sign up for this.
If you play (or want to play) a Zakuul knight or paladin who'd be on the Nar Shaddaa star fortress, you can sign up for this too!
If you'd like to sign up for this but aren't sure of how to get your character involved, pm me and we can work out a hook!
When you sign up, please indicate what character you're bringing AND if you're part of the attacking team or part of the defending team!
Involvement outside of the event:If you'd like your character involved in this story, but can't take part in the event, the new thread that's up, Cleaning out the Attic - Open thread, will give you that opportunity.
Organisation that has to occur ahead of time:
- gathering more allies for the attack
- gathering supplies for the attack
- getting everyone informed of the attack plan, once Se'brik, Karmic and Caben have decided on the attack plan
- taking out the shield bunker
If your character is involved in any of these steps, you can go ahead and post a snapshot of their involvement on the thread.
On Wednesday evening, I'll start the attack on the bunker, either as part of that thread, or as its own thread, depending upon how that thread has evolved until then. That will give everyone a few days before the event to rp that out!
I'm on a school break week this week, so if you'd like any one on one rp with Minnette - either jumping back to the weekend before she was taken, or in the star fortress prison, either as fellow prisoners or as knights, pm me to let me know. If you want to organise rp with

Important comments about expectationsJust wanted to mention here that no one should go into this event with set OOC expectations of outcomes. I realise that our characters are all going in with certain expectations, but please, keep your expectations IC, not OOC.
No outcome is guaranteed. There are certain outcomes that I, as GM, will weigh the event more in favour of, and certain outcomes that I will be weighing heavily against. My goal with this is a
balanced event - no side will completely devestate the other. Each side has different goals and each side will come out on top for some of its goals. What is established ahead of time is that no PC will die. If you specifically are bringing a character who you want to die in this event, you must discuss that with me ahead of time. Other than that, no PC will die, whether they be on the attacking team or the defending team. If you are OOC unwilling to accept that the outcomes of this event might not be what you are IC expecting, then I'd respectfully suggest that you withdraw from the event itself and only participate in the thread component.
