Imperial Wild Space Command (IWSC) forces have just arrived over Iokath. As the bulk of IWSC's naval forces assume a position opposite of the fleets of the Galactic Republic and Eternal Alliance, Moff Heermann directs part of the fleet to move toward the corridor leading to Iokath's surface to begin landing troops and establishing a foothold on the continent opposite of Acina's forces.

Details

The event will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 7:00 PM (U.S. Pacific) in the BegerenColony.org chatroom's Deep Space channel. Imperial faction players are welcome to join me aboard the Ziost Avenger in-game during the event.

We will be using Niarra's RP System: Under 100 - Starship Rules as the basis for conducting this event.

Attendees are requested to please keep OOC chat in the channel to a minimum, but if you have any questions or concerns during the event feel free to ask or post accordingly.

All dice rolls will be set to 1d100 with no modifiers.

If the event time does not work for you let me know and I will endeavor to adjust it.

Prospective event attendees are requested to respond to this thread with the following information:

   * Character name
   * Faction (e.g., Sith Empire, Galactic Republic)
   * Desired starship class (see Niarra's post, linked above)
   * Starship name
   * Character sheet using Niarra's RP System (Under 100)

I will update this post throughout the event to aid players in monitoring the status of their ships during the battle.

Event Flow

Step 1: Everyone performs a simple, straight role to determine turn order (Initiative).

Step 2: Players take their actions as their turn comes up.

     * Players can announce as a quick OOC what they are trying to achieve (e.g., I want to shoot at the enemy capital ship, or I want to fly evasively on approach to the enemy transport, or I want to try to get my shields back up).

     * Players make their roll to attempt the action. This will be a simple /roll 1d100 every time, and success or failure is determined by whether or not they fall below the threshold for the skill they are attempting to use.

     * Once the player sees whether they succeeded or failed, they then write up the RP description for how that played out.

Step 3: Move on to the next player's turn.

I want to join, however, I am waaaaaaay new to the roll system (and unreliable at making it to events on time). I may just want to stick Mei on the ZA and"observe"(?).

If i can make it on time and figure out the roll system, I'd like to add Ke'rii and his ship to the roster for the Empire. Pencil me in for the moment and when I get home tonight I'll try to steal time to work up his character sheet and one for his ship.

Ok, I want to come to this, I'm just still trying to figure out with whom. I may just bring Ha'teya on the ZA. I still have to figure out a character sheet for her, but I'll work on that tonight! I may be late though, as this is a bit earlier than I'm usually on, but hopefully we can work me in when I get in!

Ha'teya is good at using the equipment she needs to use for her research but she doesn't talk well to machines and if they malfunction, she needs a techie to rescue her. She is however very perceptive and good in negotiations or deception as required. She's good at being discrete and sneaky and has a portable stealth generator. She carries and uses a bowcaster on the ground (though wouldn't be likely to have it with her if she's on the bridge of the ZA). She has excellent training, but very little combat experience. Her field experience is exploration and finding artifacts and anything else useful for the Empire. She won't fight the squad between her and the ruins she wants to explore, she'll sneak around them.
