EVENT - Hunting the Hunted (Sept. 3rd, 8pm server time)

THE CRIMSON DREAD PIRATES placed an 8 million bounty on Ke'rii Ogasawara, and in their search for him, they have terrorized outer rim worlds and businesses. They ripped the Kol Darin Shipyards apart above Riflor and ate the survivors that remained. They destroyed the tibanna gas mines in Kril’Dor; destroying investments across the galaxy. They nearly dared to attack the Chiss on Csilla. There is no telling where they will strike next.

You have been called to help ambush and take these vile pirates down once and for all. Perhaps you were contacted by Darth Karmic herself. Or called in to aid Gharzog, the bounty hunter. Maybe you overheard a conversation at the Dancer's Palace, or your own personal business has been hurt by these pirates. Whatever brought you, the time has come to rid the galaxy of their terror...

PRE-EVENT PLANNING
Leading up to the event itself, there will be an open meeting to discuss the ambush at Dancer's Palace on Friday, 25 August. This is open to anyone, any faction, who wishes to be involved in the event.

This event will be held in-game in a personal stronghold to pose as Hutta. The rolling system will be Stell’s Trait system. Please note that the GM reserves the right to tweak and adjust any part of the rolling system during the event to improve any part of the event.

I am going to do everything in my tiny little power to sabotage this event. Because I don't want the story to end. But I *do* want Ke to finally be happy so...I retract the first sentence of this post.

All of that to say, count an Elariel in :) I don't know who would best fit the plotline though...I think I would be best as like a background character who can be used to advance the story. I guess, if you need a doctor, I'll bring Alexandra. If you need an underworld-type who's privy to a lot of info, then it's Meagan. And if you need a crazy, well we all know who that will be...

Karmic wouldn't ask Hark right now - (ESp. as he's not in her good graces And/Because he's a Jedi and this is "defend an imperial")..  She would if she saw Turari (and she DID send a missive to Nic at IWSC so you can use that as a way you found out in addition to that Chiss-bristling. :) - he was just out of game and so that contact kinda lapsed, but I did send it!).

As of right now we have a "physician/jedi healer" (ahem through Karmic shhh) as a maybe but he just physically may not be able to stay up that late once the event starts so never hurts to have backup healers Ela :).

Nobody asks Hark to show up to fight for others; he does it no matter if it gets him in trouble may not be the most dogmatic thing. Sith/Imperial/Jedi/Republic, what matters is fighting injustice and true evil, not titles. In that way he actually fits the theme of this the most.

Putting aside Hark's respectful disagreements with Karmic, Stris I agree is the next logical choice. I actually wasn't thinking about him since I've consider him sort of a pilot/test drive character of an archetype I was once curious about writing. At this point, I don't see why I can't make him a staple. I'd have to find a workaround of him being bound to the government of Kuat's orders though.

Turari/Touko was suggested because of her connections to IWSC and the fact that she has tangential gain from the operation.

Lashila I initially wrote off as someone who wouldn't care, but after consideration; I suppose this is one of her best friend's brother and the uncle of the children she once taught to prepare for Korraban so I may consider her.

What time are we going to be doing the pow-pow on Friday? I've been thinking, and since we already have a healer committed I'm going to bring Medley because...she's just fun :) But the the Orchestra will be floating around the system in the event Republic citizens need emergency medical care!

Friday's pow-wow will be pretty "loose", starting around DP start time of 9pm server time. I don't know if I will be able to make it earlier than that, but if people are assembled before I get there, that's fine. Ke can show up "fashionably" late. LOL

I'd probably put the meeting as "starting" later than DP start time - cuz heck I don't even get there right at 9 server!

I imagine - giving time for everyone to show up and all; we'd probably be starting the meeting around 9:30-9:45 server. (And if two of the three "leaders" aren't there i imagine the meeting won't really start - esp. since Mei is the GM and all LOL).

Also we do NOT have a committed healer.  The Jedi I was talking about is more in the "maybe probably not".  He's not even had a chance to come here and post on the forums this week heh.

I have a feeling he wont be making it (he moved two week ago cross country and started grad school this week lol) simply because he's EST now (boo) and so this doesn't even start until very late for him already.

Hehehe Medley is best-suited for this little excursion, I think. AND! Just for the record (even though I know you were teasing :P) the only reason I said "Republic" is because there's no way to get Impsies onto my ship!
